Hansa Narayan

Hansa Narayan has held a variety of roles in the engineering and R&D fields, beginning in 2012. From 2012-2013, they were an R&D Intern at Processware Systems (P) Ltd. and Opto Circuits India Ltd. During this time, they were also a Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Drexel University. In 2014, they were a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Cardiac Science. From 2015-2016, they were a Manufacturing Engineer at Medtronic Minimed. Finally, from 2016-2022, they were a Systems Engineer and Software Engineer II at Abbott. During their time at Abbott, they served as the Verification, Integration, and Validation (lead) Systems Engineer for a cross-functional team of 15, and successfully drove 4 new and 6 sustaining B2C product launches. Hansa also successfully launched the innovative Bluetooth-capable touchscreen cardiac device programmer, Merlin 2 Patient Care System, as the senior systems engineer from ideation through execution and into go-to-market phases.

Hansa Narayan attended Sophia High School- Bangalore from 1994 to 2007, where they obtained an I.C.S.E. degree. Hansa then attended Ramaiah Institute Of Technology from 2009 to 2013 where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Finally, they attended Drexel University from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical Engineering.
