Adam J. Gomez has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Adam started their career at Boeing in 1986 in the field of Complex Tooling Development and Coordinate Measuring Systems. Adam held various roles at Boeing, including Human Resources Specialist, Manager Complex Tooling Development and Coordinate Measuring Systems, Machine and Sheet Metal Fabrication Manager, and Senior Manager Fabrication. In 2005, they joined Spirit AeroSystems as a Senior Manager Global Supply Chain Management, and later served as a Senior Product Line Manager for 737 Major Assembly. Adam then progressed to executive positions within Spirit AeroSystems, including Executive Director Fabrication, Executive Director Global Quality, Executive Director Strategic Initiatives, and Executive Director Machine Fabrication. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Director Global Footprint Strategy at Spirit AeroSystems.

Adam J. Gomez has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Friends University, which they obtained from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Newman University between 1991 and 1994. Additionally, they hold an Associate of Applied Science in Manufacturing Engineering, which they completed at Southeast Community College from 1984 to 1985. In 1983, they also obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Machinist from Southeast Community College.
