Jose Sanchez

Jose Sanchez is an experienced operations leader with a career spanning over two decades in the aerospace and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as Executive Director of Operations at Spirit AeroSystems since January 2006, Jose leads teams to optimize business procedures, budgeting, purchasing, and workflow efficiency. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Operations, where responsibilities encompassed managing a large composite fabrication operations unit with over 300 direct reports, and Operations Manager, overseeing composite operations. Prior to Spirit AeroSystems, Jose held positions as Operations Manager at AirCapital Plating and Vermillion Inc., focusing on quality production and cost management. Jose's career began at Boeing Commercial Airplanes as Composite Manufacturing Manager. Educationally, Jose holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Southwestern College.
