Wayne Wynter

Wayne Wynter has extensive experience in aviation, currently serving as a Line Check Airman and Captain for Spirit Airlines since January 2011, responsible for ensuring flight crew competency and operational safety. Prior to this role, Wayne held the position of Captain at CAL/AIR JAMAICA Transition Limited and also worked with Air Jamaica Holdings Limited as a First Officer in various aircraft types. Wayne's background includes administrative duties for the Airline Pilot Global Health Care Plan and early aviation roles as a Safety & Marketing Officer and Flight Instructor. Wayne's education includes professional pilot training at 1492 Air Flight Training Academy, with a BSc in Natural Sciences from the University of the West Indies, Mona, along with attendance at Jamaica College and Mona Prep.
