Mark Alman currently serves as the Formula SAE Team President at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where membership was increased significantly and the team designed and competed with a racing car. As the Formula SAE Powertrain Lead, Mark oversees a team focused on the vehicle's powertrain components. Additionally, Mark holds a Manufacturing Engineering Internship at Cirrus Aircraft, working on the implementation of a Demand Flow Manufacturing system to enhance production processes. In a volunteer role, Mark coaches the UMD Women's Club Hockey Team, contributes to outdoor operations at Spirit Mountain Recreation Area, and previously gained experience as a crew member at Chipotle Mexican Grill and as a Congressional Intern for the U.S. House of Representatives. Mark is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota Duluth, following studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a high school diploma from Huntingtown High School.
