Ryan Hamilton has a diverse work experience in the music industry. Ryan currently works at Spirit Music Group as the VP of Digital, where they oversee digital licensing, brand strategy, content marketing, and account management. Ryan is also responsible for identifying emerging tech platforms to support digital business growth. Prior to this, they worked at HFA/Rumblefish in digital business development and music rights management. Ryan has also held various roles at Made Music Studio, including VP of Business Operations + Brand Partnerships and Senior Director of Business Operations + Production. Additionally, they worked at Live Nation as a PSS NA Sales Manager and at Atlantic Records in A&R and artist development.
Ryan Hamilton has completed a Masters degree in Management with a focus on Marketing and Branding from the University of Maryland, which they attended from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in the Music Industry from Monmouth University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Before their time at Monmouth University, Ryan briefly attended County College of Morris in 2003 and 2004, where they studied Music and Audio Engineering. In terms of certifications, Ryan has obtained several certifications from the HubSpot Academy, including Sales Management Certification, Email Marketing Certification, Inbound Marketing Certificate, and Sales Enablement Certificate. All of these certifications were obtained in October 2020.
