Colin Lane

Colin Lane has a diverse range of experience in the field of information technology. Colin began their career as a Technical Services Manager at HD Vest in 1992, before moving on to become the Director of Information Services at Medcare Financial Solutions in 1996. Following this, they held various IT roles at Crescent Real Estate from 2001 to 2008, including IT Special Projects, Senior Application Developer, IT Applications Development Manager, and ultimately Director of IT Applications Group.

Colin then joined Global 360, now known as OpenText, where they served as Director of Application Development from 2008 to 2011, and later as Director of IT from 2011 to 2012. During their time at Global 360, they managed application and data migration projects, as well as network infrastructure and equipment integration. Colin also played a key role in implementing corporate SOX controls and overseeing hardware implementation projects.

In 2012, Colin started their own consulting company, Colin Lane Consulting, before taking on the role of IT Director at Ferris Manufacturing Corporation in 2013. At Ferris Manufacturing, they provided infrastructure and application support and implemented software for tracking ticketing and inventory.

Colin then transitioned to the non-profit sector and joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of America as Director of IT Support and Operations in 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and staff supporting over 300 agencies and 2,000 users on a proprietary Agency Information Management (AIM) system. Colin also led efforts to upgrade the system's database platforms and code, managed vendor relationships, and handled purchasing and software licensing.

Colin's most recent position is as the Vice President of Information Technology at Spirit Realty Capital, Inc since the beginning of 2020. In this role, they oversee the company's IT functions and operations.

Throughout their career, Colin Lane has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a commitment to improving IT systems and processes.

Colin Lane attended the University of North Texas from 1989 to 1991. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business Computer Information Systems.
