Sarah McCombs Taylor

Sarah McCombs Taylor has a strong background in financial reporting and auditing. Sarah began their career at EY in 2009 as an Audit Staff/Senior, where they worked on audits of wealth and asset management clients, specializing in private equity funds and hedge funds. Sarah then moved up to the role of Audit Manager, where they focused on reviewing client financial statements for conformity with US GAAP and analyzing valuation for fund held assets.

In 2016, Sarah transitioned to Spirit Realty Capital, Inc as a Financial Reporting Manager, responsible for preparing and filing financial reports for the SEC and ensuring compliance with internal financial policies, SEC requirements, and US GAAP. Sarah also conducted research and resolved accounting issues, including implementing new accounting pronouncements. Sarah was later promoted to Director of Reporting, where they continued to oversee the preparation of financial reports and debt compliance reporting. Most recently, Sarah held the role of Senior Director of Reporting at Spirit Realty Capital, Inc.

Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, SEC compliance, and accounting research. Sarah has also played a key role in developing and mentoring others, serving as a counselor, member of People's Advisory Board, and facilitator at internal trainings during their time at EY.

Sarah McCombs Taylor completed their education from 2004 to 2009 at The University of Texas at Austin. During this time, they obtained a Masters in Professional Accounting and a Bachelors of Business Administration.
