Daniel Elliott

Daniel Elliott is an experienced chemist currently serving as Team Leader and Research Chemist at SpiroChem since May 2019. Previous positions include Synthesis Chemist at Huntsman Corporation from October 2017 to April 2019, and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Basel from May 2016 to October 2017, focusing on catalytic hydrogenation under Professor Andreas Pfaltz. Earlier roles include Research Associate at Imperial College London, where work involved biomimetic synthesis supervised by Professor Anthony Barrett, and a temporary role as Chemist/QC Scientist at Forest Laboratories in 2008. Daniel Elliott holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Stony Brook University, an M.Sc. in Chemical Physics from the University of Toronto, and a B.Sc. in Chemistry (Honors) from McGill University.
