Daniel Woolnough

Daniel Woolnough has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Daniel began their career as a Retail Salesperson at Dymocks Books in 2013, eventually moving into a role as a Retail Supervisor from 2018 to 2019. In 2018, they also started working as a Mathematics Tutor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW, providing assistance to first-year mathematics students.

From 2020 to 2021, Daniel worked at UNSW as a Research Assistant, where they gained valuable experience in the field. Daniel also held a position as a Quantitative Research Intern at Akuna Capital during the same time period.

In 2021, Daniel briefly worked as a Data Science Specialist at Adiona before moving on to their current role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Splash, where they started in 2022. Additionally, in 2021, they held a tutoring position at UNSW Computer Science and Engineering, further enriching their academic and teaching experience.

Daniel Woolnough completed a Master of Information Technology degree with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from UNSW from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Advanced Mathematics degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from UNSW from 2016 to 2019.
