Josie Messa has a strong background in software engineering, starting as a Trainee Software Engineer at IBM Hursley Laboratories in 2007. Josie later held roles at IBM and Citi as a Technical Intern, gaining experience in configuration management and software development practices. Moving on to IBM Hursley Laboratories in 2011, they took on a Technical Intern role and then progressed to various software engineering positions, including roles in network monitoring, REST API development, and cloud integration. Josie'smost recent role at Unity Technologies saw their working as a Senior Netcode Engineer and an Engineering Lead, focusing on creating tools that simplify multiplayer game development within the Unity editor. Currently, Josie is a Principal Backend Engineer at Splash Damage, further honing their expertise in software development.
Josie Messa obtained a MMath degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, attending from 2008 to 2012.
