Ryan Gray

Ryan Gray has a diverse work experience spanning a wide range of roles and industries. Ryan is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Splash Financial since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Splash Financial from October 2020 to August 2021.

Before joining Splash Financial, Ryan held multiple positions at Guaranteed Rate. Ryan started as a Software Engineer in August 2016 and progressed to become a Senior Software Engineer in October 2018. In November 2019, they were promoted to the role of Lead Software Engineer, where they led a team of 9 software engineers and one SDET. In this role, they were responsible for building a work prioritization and workflow automation application for loan processors, utilizing technologies like Clojure, ClojureScript, Reagent, and Reframe. Ryan also worked extensively with microservice architecture and deployed applications on a self-provisioned Kubernetes cluster in AWS. Their tenure at Guaranteed Rate ended in October 2020.

Ryan also has experience as a Partner at Bluetown Skateboard Company from August 2012 to December 2019, where they played a key role in the company's operations and growth.

Additionally, they have worked at various other companies in different capacities. Notably, they were a Front End Developer at Backstop Solutions Group from December 2015 to August 2016, a Full Stack Web Developer at Rand McNally from October 2013 to December 2015, and a Lead Web Developer at Think Mint Chip LLC from June 2013 to October 2013.

Prior to these roles, Ryan worked as a Freelance Web Designer & Developer, taking on various projects from January 2011 to June 2013. Ryan also gained experience in supply chain planning, web maintenance, and digital marketing as part of their role at Chief Enterprises, Inc. from May 2011 to May 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Sales Agent, Marketing, and Web professional at Bornliving Real Estate Agency and Relocation Services from December 2009 to June 2010, and as an Administrative Assistant, Shop Worker, and performed miscellaneous duties at Service Industries LLC from January 2009 to August 2009.

Ryan Gray attended The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Business Administration, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Additionally, they obtained an International Business Certificate from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, specifically from l'Escola Superior de Comerc Internacional (ESCI).
