About the Role

Based out of our Cricklewood Hub, an exciting opportunity has presented itself to lead our in-house remarketing team. The Vehicle Remarketing Manager will be personable, outgoing, and well prepared to engage with our customer base, including retail customers and PCO drivers, to drive vehicle sales. This will involve performing vehicle appraisals, coordinating trade in opportunities, conducting test drives and ensuring our outright sales program is effective and efficient. 

In addition to direct customer sales, the Vehicle Remarketing Manager will also focus on the disposal and turnover of the Splend fleet through alternate and more traditional channels. These include selling directly to consumer market, managing tenders involving our dealer network, utilising wholesale channels, and leveraging auction houses. This role is also responsible for maintaining and expanding the preferred dealer network for new purchases by building mutually beneficial relationships.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers in selecting the and purchasing the right used car to meet their needs and budget.
  • Providing information about vehicle features, specifications and pricing in relation to our products.
  • Conducting test drives and vehicle appraisals.
  • Maintaining market knowledge to identify vehicles to de-fleet and sell at opportunistic times.
  • Providing guidance on best practice to present and position vehicles for maximum profits.
  • Coordinating scheduled tenders and liaising with network of dealers and wholesalers to maintain a level of attendance to drive competitive results.
  • Ensure Splend achieves maximum return when selling vehicles at optimum disposal cycles.
  • Identify opportunities that deliver best profit outcomes and minimise loss and risk.
  • Maximise value and sale proceeds of vehicles sold.
