Dennis L. Via

General Dennis L. Via, US Army, Retired, has served on our Board since 2020. Since 2017, General Via has served as an Executive Vice President, fellow for Defense Futures, and a senior executive leader in the Global Defense Group’s Joint Combatant Command business of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., a management and information technology consulting firm. Prior to joining Booz Allen, he served in the United States Army from 1980-2016, holding multiple command and senior leadership positions, including as the Commander of the U.S. Army Materiel Command from 2012-2016 and retiring as a 4-star General. General Via has served as a member of the board of directors for Milliken & Company, a diversified industrial manufacturer, since 2019. He holds a B.S. from Virginia State University and a Master of Education from Boston University.
