Monica Ricarte Powers

Monica Ricarte Powers is an accomplished executive director currently serving at MultiCare Health System since 2014, fostering philanthropy for health and healing initiatives. Previously, Monica held the position of executive director at Good Samaritan Foundation/Foundations of MultiCare, promoting philanthropic endeavors in East Pierce County. With extensive experience in strategic consulting through Philanthropy 1st, Monica has also served as president/CEO, where inspiring nonprofits and enhancing fundraising strategies were key focuses. Additional roles include guest teaching at Sumner-Bonney Lake School District, consulting for Lutheran Community Services Northwest, and marketing initiatives at Pacific Lutheran University, where Monica also held several positions over a 14-year span, including development director.
