Sidney J. Hopson

Sidney J. Hopson is an accomplished recording artist with extensive experience in the entertainment industry, having recorded percussion and sound effects for prominent motion picture scores, including notable films such as Avatar: The Way of Water and Encanto. As a member of Wild Up, Sidney J. Hopson performs and co-produces diverse music across various genres and locations. In leadership roles, Sidney J. Hopson serves as the Director of the Recording Musicians Association Los Angeles and has held positions including Principal Percussionist, Percussion Coordinator, and Orchestra Operations Manager at Spoleto Festival USA. Additionally, participation in the 94th Academy Awards involved pre-recording percussion and performing live in the orchestra pit. Sidney J.
