Head of Customer Success at Spora Health

Jesse Southworth is the Head of Customer Success at Spora Health. Prior to joining Spora Health, Jesse was the Vice President of Operational Excellence at Solera Health from January 2019 to September 2020. At Solera, Jesse was a member of the Executive Leadership Team and oversaw operational, program management and technical departments including Analytics, Data Integration & Operations, Provider Network Management, and Performance Excellence.

Jesse's previous role was as Director Provider Data Excellence at Regence BlueShield from March 2017 to January 2019. In this role, Jesse led the design, development, and execution of a new enterprise omni-channel platform, operational model, and feature roadmap focused on improving 1.7M+ members’ experience with navigating and managing their medical benefits. Jesse also drove custom solution development for a 200K-life client. As Director Provider Data Excellence, Jesse assembled and led a 5-member team and oversaw a $1.2M contract/budget. Jesse also developed outcome and process metrics for measuring provider data accuracy across the network which resulted in a 2x increase in enterprise provider data accuracy.

In addition to their work at Regence BlueShield, Jesse has also been a thought leader and collaborator in consumer transparency customer forums and has represented the Health Plan Operations division in enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives.

Jesse Southworth has a MS in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Davis and a BS in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley. They also have a certification in Data Science: Bridging Principles and Practice from University of California, Berkeley and a certification in Data or Specimens Only Research from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY.
