Leigh Mair

Leigh Mair has over 20 years of experience working for blue chip Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies. She has experience in strategic development, change management and improving business performance in large organisations. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Affairs.

She currently works at InnoScot Health, working in partnership with NHS Scotland to identify, protect, develop and commercialise new innovations from healthcare professionals.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University and, PGD in Health and Wellbeing. Leigh has contributed to several Scottish Parliament Cross Party Groups including Diabetes, Health Inequalities and Rural Policy. She also sits as a Non-Executive Board Member at the University of Highlands and Islands Moray College.

Leigh is passionate about the benefits of physical activity for all ages and as a parent, is incredibly supportive of exercise for improved health and wellbeing in children and young adults.
