Joe Reid

Joe Reid has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Joe is currently employed as a Lead Backend Engineer (Go) at SPORT BUFF since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Mercury Holidays as a Lead DevOps & Architect (Golang) from October 2019 to July 2020. Before that, they were a Software Developer at StorageOS from June 2017 to October 2019. Joe also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Kent from December 2016 to May 2017. Their earliest work experience was as a Software Engineer at Nubolabs, Inc. from June 2015 to September 2016, where they primarily developed firmware for an embedded IoT device using Golang.

Joe Reid started their education at Canterbury Christ Church University in 2012, where they pursued their first year of study in Computer Science. Joe then transferred to the University of Kent and studied there from 2013 to 2017. Joe earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Kent.
