Technical Director Of IT And Broadcast Television at SPORT TV

Filipe Tocha began their work experience as a Business Analyst at Portugal Telecom in September 2007. Filipe worked in this role until August 2010. Filipe then moved on to SPORT TV, where they initially served as the Deputy Director Of Operations from September 2010 to January 2014. During this time, they focused on improving operational efficiency and oversaw the transition of all Sport TV channels to a 16:9 aspect ratio. Filipe then became the Technical Director of IT and Broadcast Television at SPORT TV in January 2014. In this role, they managed critical services and infrastructure, selected and negotiated core technologies, and orchestrated the digital transformation of the IT and Broadcast Television areas.

Filipe Tocha's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Lisbon MBA Católica | Nova, which they pursued from 2021 to 2023. Filipe also participated in the Disciplined Entrepreneurship Program at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2022. In 2023, they attended the University of St.Gallen for a program on Machine Learning & AI: Impact on Business and Esade for Agile Methodologies. Prior to these, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico from 2002 to 2008. Additionally, Filipe has obtained additional certifications such as the Circular Markstrat Business Simulation and the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) from the University of Cambridge in 2023 and 2004, respectively. Filipe is also recognized as an Effective Member of the Portuguese Order of Engineers since 2014.
