Magnus Tuononen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Magnus began their career with Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget (SCA) as a summer job planting fir seedlings from 1983 to 1986. Magnus then worked at Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB (FKA) from 1987 to 1988, managing plant modifications. Tuononen rejoined FKA in 1989 and held various roles including process engineer, project manager, manager of the archive for technical documentation, manager of software development, and manager of the project planning office until 2001. During their time at FKA, they implemented solutions for digital document management and CAD technology.
In 2001, Tuononen joined AB Trav och Galopp (ATG) where they worked until 2016. Magnus served as an international business development and sales manager, negotiating contracts with external partners and developing sales strategies. Magnus also worked as the head of international, acting and project manager for new business opportunities and game products, including implementing ATG's first mobile gaming solution.
In 2017, Tuononen held the position of director of sales for the Nordic countries at Sportech. Later in 2017, they became the innovation director at iReality, responsible for creating and enhancing new digital interactive services for horse racing through their software solution called StarController. The solution includes mapping, tracking, and data augmentation features.
Magnus Tuononen completed high school at Boberg and Forsmark from 1985 to 1989, receiving a degree in Energy and Process Engineering.
