Matt Fay has extensive experience in human resources and total rewards. Matt currently holds the position of Vice President People at Sporting Life Group since November 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Total Rewards at ENMAX from November 2016 to November 2018. Matt also held various roles at Canadian Tire Corporation, including Vice President Human Resources for FGL Sports and Marks Work Warehouse from April 2015 to October 2016, and Associate Vice President Total Rewards for FGL Sports and Marks Work Warehouse from October 2011 to April 2015. Before joining Canadian Tire, they worked at FGL Sports Ltd as the Manager of Total Rewards from October 2008 to October 2011. Matt began their career at PwC Canada as a Senior Associate in Total Rewards Consulting from September 2007 to October 2008, and later moved to PwC UK, where they worked as a Compensation Analyst from October 2002 to September 2007.
Matt Fay CPHR GRP MSc has a Master's degree in International Business from Grenoble Ecole de Management. Matt also holds a BA in History from the University of the West of England. Additionally, they have certifications in ACRM from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, CPHR from CPHR Alberta, and GRP from WorldatWork.
