SportInspired
SportInspired is a charity with a vision of connecting communities, where young people enjoy being active. To achieve this vision we deliver fun, inclusive, innovative, and impactful community programmes called SportInspired Games. These bring together key local community stakeholders to achieve a shared common purpose; a place where every child is involved in community sport, where every child is developing confidence and life-skills through this activity and leading happier, healthier lives as a result. Active, healthy children, surrounded by connected communities reap enormous benefits. These include greater ambition, improved academic ability, less anti-social behaviour and overall a happier, healthier society. When SportInspired's methods are used to bring people, programmes and places together, communities are empowered to help young people get active and connect to positive role models. Central to achieving our goal are the Corporations who support us, supplying employee volunteers and funding to plan and run our programmes. It is a mutually beneficial situation as employees emerge from their games experience re enthused with their roles, reconnected with their co workers and with enhanced management skills. Corporations develop stronger local connections and are seen to be giving something back to the communities that surround them. Sport Inspired games support internal HR and PR activities and give employees a unique volunteering experience.
