Arsen Avalyan

Arsen Avalyan is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive leadership experience in various roles. Currently serving as Software Team Lead at Sportmaster since September 2022, Arsen manages a team of 10 in developing software for cash registers and a mobile sales application, achieving significant process efficiencies through standardization and implementing a CI/CD pipeline. Previously at X5 Retail Group, significant contributions included leading a team to enhance deployment processes and developing solutions for self-service checkouts as a Principal Software Engineer. Arsen also holds experience as a Senior Java Software Engineer at Altarix, where a real-time mortgage calculator was developed, and as a Java Developer at 1C Company, contributing to the performance of a full-text search engine. Educationally, Arsen has a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.
