Erich Handschuh

Erich Handschuh has extensive work experience in the IT and engineering field. Erich started their career in 2005 as a Developer at SPORT1 GmbH. From 2008 to 2016, they worked as the IT Director at LAOLA1, where they were responsible for managing the digital output of sports content. In 2016, Erich joined Sportradar as the IT Office Lead, overseeing a team of 200+ employees, with a focus on web and app development in the sports and video streaming industry. Currently, they hold the position of Director Engineering - Sports Entertainment (TCTO) at Sportradar, leading cross-functional product development teams. Recently, they have been promoted to the role of VP, Engineering - Fan Engagement.

Erich Handschuh received their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Internettechnologien from FH Burgenland, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they obtained certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services in January 2022.
