Lutz Tigges

Lutz Tigges has extensive experience in the sports media industry. Lutz began their career at SPORTFIVE as the Managing Director for SPORTFIVE Asia, where they held the position from 2003 to 2006. Lutz then transitioned to the role of Senior Director at SPORTFIVE, with a focus on the "Football League Portfolio" from 2006 to 2011. After that, Lutz joined Sportradar as a Senior Director in the Audiovisual department in 2021 and was later promoted to Vice President. In their current role, they lead the Media Rights department, overseeing international acquisitions, co-operations with partners, and sales of audiovisual rights to broadcasters and media companies worldwide. Lutz also manages a team of Key Account Managers and works closely with various sports governing bodies.

Lutz Tigges studied Sports Business / Sports Economy at the University of Bayreuth from 1989 to 1994, earning a Diploma.
