Vjeko Hofman

Vjeko Hofman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Vjeko started their career as a Research and Development Engineer at Koncar Electrical Engineering Institute, Inc. in 2006. Vjeko then moved on to AVL in 2007, where they held various roles including Software Development Engineer, Senior Project Leader, Product Owner, Software Engineering Manager, and Scrum Master. At AVL, they were involved in projects related to hybrid and electric vehicle development, Formula 1 racing teams, automated driving systems, and data science. Vjeko also co-authored a graduate university program in Automotive Computing and Communications. In 2010, they co-founded Etherion LLC where they served as Co-Founder, Product Manager, and Engineer. Vjeko was responsible for managing production processes, business development, strategy, and leading engineering teams in software development. Vjeko joined Omdena in 2019 as an Engineering Manager and Product Manager, working on a project focused on AI applications in space, specifically anomaly detection in images from Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. Recently, in 2022, they joined Sportradar as the Head of Product.

Vjeko Hofman completed their Master of Science degree in Control Engineering, Automation and Robotics from FER, during the period of 2001-2006. In 2013, they attended the iRESEV Summer School specifically focused on Electric and Hybrid Vehicles. Additionally, they obtained multiple certifications in Agile Development Practices, Agile Software Development, Agile Foundations, Scrum, DevOps, Lean Technology Strategy, and JIRA Software.
