Lead Yoga Instructor at Sports Academy

Wurst was the Area Lead at CorePower Yoga in Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks for six years before becoming the President of Operations at Westlake Yoga Co. Her personal mission is to teach mental and physical training tools to students seeking to reduce distractions, increase focus, and add mindfulness, recovery and relaxation to their routines. Monica has worked as the yoga therapist for the Los Angeles Rams for four seasons, is a legacy ambassador for Lululemon, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Sports and Performance Psychology. Recently she worked as the yoga instructor for the Dallas Cowboys during their 2021 training camp, which was featured on an episode of Hard Knocks HBO. Outside of work Monica seeks to connect with people through mindfulness and healing practices that bring communities together.

THE ACADEMY is our physical home for training. A 100,000 square-foot facility, operates five basketball courts, five volleyball courts, two beach volleyball courts, a turf field, combative and self-defense dojo, a comprehensive sports medicine practice for medical therapy and rehabilitation, a biomechanics lab, a world-class cognitive training lab, an e-sports training ground, a mondo sprint track, a learning center for academic tutoring and training, and a yoga/cycling studio. We are updating the way people approach human performance.
