Emily Kates, SPTA, LAT, ATC, is an experienced athletic trainer currently working at Sports & Ortho Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine since November 2021. Previously, Emily served as an athletic trainer at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute and Olympia Chiropractic & Physical Therapy. Emily began professional engagement in athletic training while obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Illinois State University, where additional roles included academic tutoring in Psychology, Mathematics, and Anatomy.
