Emily van Buskirk

Emily Van Buskirk is a versatile features writer currently producing college football stories for the Sports Illustrated website. In addition to this role, Emily serves as an Assistant Marketing Manager for the Northern California Golf Association and Poppy Holding Inc. Previously, contributions were made to SB Nation as an AAC Contributor and podcast host, covering American football. Other experience includes marketing and sales administration for the U.S. Women’s Open at Pebble Beach Resorts and writing about college football for Yardbarker, Inc. Emily's early career involved community engagement with the Peoria Chiefs and digital media work with the San Francisco Giants.
