Bill Pipal

Bill Pipal has a long history of legal experience. Bill began their career in 2012 as an Associate at Troutman Sanders LLP. In 2017, they joined Home Chef as In-House Counsel, where they were a member of the in-house Legal team and supported legal and compliance needs across all of the company's business functions. In 2020, they joined SpotHero as Associate General Counsel & Director of Compliance, then moved into the role of Interim Head of People and eventually Senior Corporate Counsel.

Bill Pipal received a Juris Doctorate, Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2012. Prior to this, they obtained a B.S. in Psychology and Pre-Law from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2008. In 2021, they obtained four additional certifications: Become a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) from LinkedIn, Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPPUS) from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, Demonstrating Accountability as a Leader from LinkedIn, and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Essential Training from LinkedIn.
