Andrew Hillel

Andrew Hillel has extensive experience in software engineering and management, most recently serving as Director of Engineering and Senior Software Engineering Manager at Spotify from September 2021 to June 2023. Prior to this, Andrew worked at BBC from December 2013 to September 2021, where notable achievements included establishing the Voice + AI engineering department and delivering innovative voice-first products. Andrew's earlier roles include Software Development Consultant at AH Web Consultancy and Systems Developer at Rossendale Borough Council. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Business and Strategic Leadership from Cranfield School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Manchester.
