Jackie Balzer Austin

Jackie Balzer Austin is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Director of Engineering at Spotify since June 2020. Jackie has held roles including Director of Engineering for Music Promotion & Spotify for Artists and Senior Engineering Manager for Podcasts & Talk Formats. Prior to Spotify, Jackie was an Engineering Manager at Spotahome, leading a significant engineering team, and held various positions at Adobe, Behance LLC, Fli Digital, Inc., Infrasafe, and Tributaries Cable. Jackie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, completed in 2009.
