Jamie Ramsay

Jamie Ramsay has a diverse work experience in various event and production roles. They started their career as a Sales and Events Coordinator at Searcys in November 2016. They then worked as a Freelance Event Manager at Smart Group Ltd - Event Services from March 2016 to September 2016. In April 2016, they joined Sarah Haywood Weddings & Celebrations as an Event/Production Manager. They also worked as a Venue and Events Manager at MyChocolate from April 2016 to November 2016. In 2017, Jamie joined Spotlight and held multiple roles including Event and Marketing Executive from June 2017 to June 2019, Events and Partnerships Manager from June 2019 to July 2022, Global Events Manager from July 2022 to March 2023, and currently as the Head of Events. Prior to these roles, Jamie worked as a Freelance Stage Manager at LUX Technical from August 2015 to January 2017. They also had an event supervisor role at the National Theatre from April 2014 to November 2016. Additionally, Jamie worked as an Acting teacher, Director, and AV for Genesis Theatre Schools and Agency from September 2012 to September 2014. They also served as an Assistant Director, stage manager, and sound technician for Genesis Theatre Summer Schools from July 2008 to September 2014. Lastly, Jamie had a short-term role as an Opera Director at City music services, where they directed a community opera production in Spitalfields.

Jamie Ramsay completed a Higher National Diploma in Event Management from Oxford Home Study College between 2020 and 2021. Prior to that, between 2010 and 2013, Jamie obtained a Bachelor's degree in Drama and Dance from the University of Lincoln.
