David Ruigh has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. David began their career as an Editorial Intern at Ogden Publications in 2006 and later served as an Editorial Intern at CMJ in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, David worked as a Sr. Copyeditor at Energy Intelligence, where they managed a two-person copyediting team and ensured the timely publication of accurate and well-edited materials. David then served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Marquette University from 2009 to 2011, contributing to quantitative data sets and teaching as a TA. At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, from 2011 to 2013, David worked as an Editorial Assistant, overseeing the peer-review process for scholarly journals and managing various responsibilities related to publications. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University Bloomington, where they graded and facilitated discussions for various political science courses. Currently, David serves as an Analyst Specialist at Spotlight, an analyst relations firm, where they use their expertise to support clients in building relationships with industry analysts.
David Ruigh attended The University of Kansas from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained both a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs at Marquette University from 2009 to 2011. Lastly, they attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2013 to 2017, studying Political Science and Government.
