Seyon Vasantharajan

Seyon Vasantharajan is a Senior Software Engineer at SpotOn since April 2023, previously serving as the Founder and Software Engineer at Viviplan from September 2017 to April 2023. At Viviplan, Seyon focused on automating inefficiencies in financial planning through software, including the development of a Ruby on Rails platform that gathered over 200 data points from customers. Earlier experiences include co-founding Diversify For You, where Seyon secured funding through the Entrepreneurship Hatchery, and serving as a Summer Research Student at the University of Toronto, where financial modeling strategies were backtested using MATLAB. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science with a focus on Math, Stats, and Finance from the University of Toronto, completed in 2015. Other notable roles include web development and IT administration at the University of Toronto and teaching advanced math concepts at Spirit of Math Schools Inc. from 2010 to 2012.
