Mark Cole

Mark Cole currently serves as the Deputy County Administrator for Spotsylvania County, a position held since January 2013, overseeing daily operations and compliance with county regulations. Previously, Mark served as a Member of the Virginia House of Delegates from January 2002 to January 2022, representing the 88th District and participating in various committees. Mark held program management roles at both Chugach Alaska Corporation and Northrop Grumman Corporation, managing personnel and overseeing training programs for the US Navy. Mark also has an extensive military background with the US Navy Reserve and as a Lieutenant in the US Navy. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Mary Washington, an Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems from Germanna Community College, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Western Kentucky University.
