EVP, Head of Creator Community at Spotter

Monica Khan is the EVP, Head of Creator Community at Spotter. Prior to their current role, Monica served as the Product Marketing Lead for Community Economy & Community Sustainability at Facebook from October 2021 to April 2022. In this role, they led partner monetization and sustainability initiatives to ensure community leaders globally had effective pathways to sustain their communities and amplify their impact.

Before their time at Facebook, Monica was the Head of Sustainability for Community Partnerships at YouTube (Google) from June 2014 to March 2020. In this role, they managed relationships with strategic learning and family entertainment content partners. Monica helped traditional media companies, not-for-profit organizations and independent creators expand their presence on YouTube to enrich millions of viewers around the world. Monica also founded and drove multiple cross-functional workstreams to accelerate monetization for learning partners and help them improve their chances of building a sustainable YouTube business.

Prior to their role at YouTube, Monica served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Guggenheim Digital Media from January 2013 to December 2014.

Monica Khan has an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and a BA in Economics from Columbia University in the City of New York. Monica also has a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates from J.P. Stevens High School.
