Theodore Anastasiou

Theodore ANASTASIOU, Ph.D., currently serves as Vice President of Technologies Business Development and Strategic Growth at Spray-Tek since 2023, contributing to custom spray drying and microencapsulation services for a diverse range of industries. Prior to this role, Theodore was Vice President of Research and Development at P2 Science, Inc. from 2020 to 2023, focusing on sustainable and high-performance ingredients for personal care and cosmetics. Theodore's extensive experience includes serving as Director of Perfumery Technical Development & Innovation at Firmenich (2012-2020), where innovative fragrance technologies were developed for global clients, as well as Group Leader for Gum & Candy Ingredient Technology at Mondelēz International (2007-2012). Earlier in the career, Theodore held the position of Research Investigator at International Flavors & Fragrances (2003-2007), pioneering microencapsulation technology for laundry products. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Organic Synthesis & Polymer Chemistry from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Trinity College-Hartford.
