Shane Connelly

Shane Connelly is the Chief Product Officer at SPREAD AI, having previously served as Head of Product at Vectara, where the focus was on a generative AI platform for creating AI assistants. Prior to Vectara, Shane was Director of Product Management at Kong Inc., leading the flagship “runtimes” products, and held a similar role at Elastic, overseeing Elasticsearch product management for a global team. Earlier experience includes senior product management at HP Software, architectural roles at Autonomy, and engineering positions that spanned work at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Wayne-Dalton Corp. Shane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Foreign Certificate of Studies from Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University.
