Mehmetcik Kalay

Mehmetcik Kalay is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in industry, consulting, and private equity. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer for Europe at Spreetail since July 2021, Mehmetcik previously held significant roles such as General Manager at Borusan Lojistik, Managing Director at The Abraaj Group, and General Manager for Turkey and Central Asia at Hilti. Expertise includes commercial and operational evaluation of investment opportunities and sustainable post-investment value creation. Earlier career positions included leadership roles at Tetra Pak, PTC, and PRTM Management Consultants. Mehmetcik holds an Executive Program degree from Harvard Business School, an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, and advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University and Istanbul Technical University.
