Nam D Tran

Nam D Tran has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 1992 as a Research Associate at UC Irvine and continuing until their current role as Scientific and IVF Director at Spring Fertility. In 1994, they moved to Corning Nichols Institute as a Senior Research Associate. In 1998, they took on the role of Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Nevada Reno. In 2011, they became an Assistant Professor, Clinician, and Principal Investigator at UCSF. Finally, in 2016, they accepted a position as Managing Scientist at Advanced Sciences.

Nam D Tran completed their B.S. in Biological Sciences, Microbiology from UC Irvine in 1993. Nam D then went on to obtain their Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Physiology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1999. In 2000, they earned their M.D. from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine. Nam D then finished their Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency from the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine in 2008, followed by a Chief Resident position in the same school from 2007-2008. Finally, they completed their Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship from the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine in 2011.
