Following this, in 1999, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in National Security and Strategic Studies (Middle East Affairs) from the U.S. Naval War College. In the same year, BJ Constantine also completed a Middle East and African Studies program at the Naval Postgraduate School.

BJ Constantine furthered their education in the field of counseling psychology, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree from Chaminade University of Honolulu in 2018. Additionally, they participated in the Joint and Combined Warfare Course at the Joint Forces Staff College, National Defense University in 2013.

Furthermore, BJ Constantine obtained a certification as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor from the Hawaii State Department of Health in November 2020. A few months earlier, in June 2020, they also became a Licensed Professional Counselor through the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Health Professions. Most recently, in November 2021, BJ Constantine acquired the Licensed Professional Counselor certification from the District of Columbia Department of Health. Moreover, they hold the National Board Certified Counselor credential, which was awarded in November 2020 by The National Board for Certified Counselors.
