Deanna Brauer de Palacios MA, LPC, NCC has had extensive work experience in various roles related to mental health therapy, counseling, and executive leadership. Deanna is currently working as a Mental Health Therapist at Spring Health. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director at PALACIOS FOUNDATIONS. Deanna has also held the role of Board President at ArtsTech.

Deanna has a strong background in counseling, having worked as a Counselor at Northland Counseling Services and as a Therapist at Hope House, Inc and MOCSA. In these positions, they provided individual counseling, facilitated group therapy sessions, and conducted intake assessments for clients.

In addition to their counseling work, Deanna has also held leadership positions. Deanna served as the Executive Director of the American Counseling Association of Missouri, where they successfully implemented a membership plan resulting in a significant increase in membership. Deanna was also the Executive Director of the American Counseling Association, where they organized annual conferences and developed a yearlong e-newsletter program for members.

Deanna's experience also includes teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Avila University, where they taught graduate and undergraduate courses in human development and social psychology.

Throughout their career, Deanna has demonstrated strong business acumen by creating and implementing business and marketing plans to generate clientele, utilizing business metrics to streamline operations, and leading training seminars for colleagues. Deanna is dedicated to staying current with research trends and industry developments.

Deanna Brauer de Palacios MA, LPC, NCC completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts & Science with a focus on English at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1994 to 1998. During the same period, they also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts and Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In 1997, they attended The Victorian University where they pursued a degree in Psychology for a year. Following their undergraduate studies, Deanna enrolled at Webster University and obtained a Master's degree in Counseling from 2006 to 2009. Deanna furthered their education at Webster University, completing another Master's degree in Counseling from 2007 to 2011.
