Laurie Thomeczek, MPH, NBC-HWC has extensive work experience in various roles within the health and wellness field. Laurie currently works as a Life and Wellness Coach at Spring Health, where they utilize their skills to support and guide individuals in achieving their wellness goals. Prior to this, Laurie was employed by RVO Health, starting in 2018. Laurie'sroles at RVO Health included serving as a Quality Analyst, a Rally Coach University Adjunct Faculty member, and a Health Coach. In their role as a Rally Coach University Adjunct Faculty member, they worked closely with the RCU team to develop continuing education opportunities and update content in accordance with health and wellness guidelines. Laurie also played a significant role as a Health Coach, facilitating virtual group classes and conducting 1-on-1 coaching sessions for programs focused on weight loss and diabetes prevention. Before their time at RVO Health, Laurie gained experience as a Water Aerobics Instructor and a Graduate Research Assistant at Colorado State University. Additionally, they served as the Director of Education at MenuTrinfo® LLC and the Tanzania HITSystem Director at Global Health Innovations. Laurie's career journey started at Abilene Youth Sports Authority, where they worked as a Sports Information Coordinator. Throughout their career, Laurie has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the well-being of individuals and communities.
Laurie Thomeczek, MPH, NBC-HWC holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Physical Activity & Healthy Lifestyles, which they obtained from Colorado State University between 2013 and 2015. Prior to their master's degree, Laurie completed their undergraduate studies at Abilene Christian University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nutrition Sciences from 2008 to 2012.
