Ramya Baratam

Ramya Baratam is an experienced product designer who has worked with various companies. Ramya is currently employed as a Lead Product Designer at Spring Health. Prior to this, they worked as a Design Mentor at adplist.org in 2022. In 2021, Ramya was a Design Fellow at On Deck. Before that, they served as a Design Mentor at Third Eye Collective in 2020. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Senior Product Designer at Molekule. Ramya also worked as a Design Consultant at Scotty Labs from 2018 to 2019, where they contributed to the re-design of the ride monitoring application and the remote car assistance experience. Ramya was a Lead Product Designer at Alpaca from 2016 to 2018, leading various projects and launching Alpaca Brokerage API. In 2015, Ramya worked as a UX Design Instructor Assistant at General Assembly, where they co-taught and assisted in teaching UX design principles. Earlier in their career, they served as a Lead Product Designer at Zenefits in 2014 and as a UX Consultant at salesforce.com for a brief period in the same year.

Ramya Baratam holds a Master's degree in Interaction Design from Arizona State University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, also from Arizona State University. In addition to their formal education, Ramya has completed the UXDI Immersive Course in User Experience from General Assembly in August 2014. Ramya also has a certification in iOS Prototyping from CodePath, although the exact date of completion is not specified.
