Robert Schuman

Robert Schuman's work experience begins in 2010 as an Open Source Ruby on Rails Developer at the Harvard Berkman Center for Internet & Society. In 2011, they worked as the Co-founder and VP of Technology & Privacy at GaggleAMP, where they developed a social advocacy web app. From 2011 to 2012, they served as the DevOps and Data Privacy Lead at MyEnergy, contributing to a utility bill scraping system. Robert then worked as the Director of Engineering at Lumos Labs (Lumosity) from 2012 to 2015, taking on additional responsibilities as the DevOps Lead Engineer.

In 2016, Schuman joined Leomo, Inc as the Director of Engineering, where they managed the project and release of LEOMO's flagship device, the TYPE-R. Robert also established strategic partnerships and acted as a technical coordinator between LEOMO and other athletic technology companies.

Schuman then held the position of CTO at Zehitomo from 2018 to 2020 and worked as a Technical Advisor at Trusted Corporation from 2018 to the present. Robert later joined Red Ventures as the Senior Director of Engineering and CTO of Magenta Technologies from 2021 to 2022 before joining Spring Health as the Senior Director of Engineering in September 2022.

Throughout their career, Schuman has demonstrated expertise in engineering management, DevOps, infrastructure scaling, and security. Robert has utilized various technologies such as Ruby on Rails, AWS, and MySQL.

Robert Schuman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire from 1999 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Masters of Education degree with a focus on Technology, Innovation, and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, completing it from 2009 to 2010.

In terms of certifications, Robert obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2021. Robert also obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certification from Google in November 2020.
