Siham HACHI, PhD, has a diverse work experience in various data science and research roles.
Starting in 2013, HACHI served as a Software Development Intern at INSERM, where they developed an image analysis software for vocal cord paralysis detection in collaboration with surgeons. The software is currently used in clinical routines.
In 2014, HACHI joined the University of Luxembourg as a Graduate Research Assistant. Here, their research focused on identifying new Parkinson's Disease phenotypes using microscopic imaging and bioimage analysis.
From 2018 to 2019, HACHI worked as a BI/Data Engineering Consultant at Tomorrow Services and Banque de Luxembourg, providing expertise in business intelligence and data engineering.
In 2020, HACHI was a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, where they created Thrive, a Flask web app aimed at aiding language disorder detection in children. They performed feature engineering of audio data and achieved impressive results with a logistic regression model.
Currently, HACHI is working at Spring Health. They started as a Data Scientist II in 2021 and have been promoted to Senior Data Scientist in 2023.
Throughout their career, HACHI has demonstrated a strong focus on research, data analysis, and creating practical, impactful solutions in the field of data science.
Siham HACHI, Ph.D. completed their M.S. in Computer Science from Université Paris Cité between 2012 and 2013. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from the University of Luxembourg between 2014 and 2018.
