Tommy Pham has a diverse work experience with positions in various industries. Tommy is currently working as a Member Benefits Coordinator at Spring Health, where they assist customers in navigating their mental health benefits and connects them with healthcare providers. Prior to this, Tommy worked at Elevance Health as a Walk-In Customer Representative, educating Medicare recipients on benefits and conducting outreach phone calls to promote health screenings. Tommy also worked as a Graduate Teacher Assistant for Healthcare Management at California State University, Los Angeles, mentoring students and instructing classes. In the US Army, Tommy held multiple roles such as a Supervisor in the Spine and Neurosurgery Clinic, a Medical Technician-Team Lead in the Same Day Surgery/ Ambulatory Procedure Unit, and a Medical Technician in the Family Medicine Clinic. Throughout their military career, they managed staff, optimized workflows, trained new hires, and performed various administrative and patient care tasks.
Tommy Pham completed their education at various institutions. From 2008 to 2012, they attended the University of California, Riverside, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and another Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, specifically focusing on Communication Studies. Later on, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at California State University, Los Angeles. Furthermore, in June 2021, they obtained a certification as a Resident Insurance Producer in Accident and Health Agent from the California Department of Insurance.
