Rachel Jacobson

Rachel Jacobson is the current Senior Director, R&D at Spring Discovery. Rachel was previously a Senior Principal Scientist at Kodiak Sciences from February 2016 to September 2019, helping draft sections of S1 filing in preparation for Kodiak's IPO, and nominated targets and initiated new drug discovery programs. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Pfizer from October 2013 to February 2016, validating targets for immuno-oncology therapeutics or determining whether targets can ideally be coupled with antibody drug conjugate or T-cell engagement platforms.

Rachel Jacobson holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis, and a BS in Genetics from Texas A&M University.
